With all that Mt Buller has to offer, there’s really no reason to leave the mountain!

Mt Buller can successfully boast two awesome snow feats – it has Victoria’s largest lift network, with 22 lifts capable of moving 40,000 people an hour. And at just three hours’ drive from Melbourne, it is also the most accessible major snow resort in Australia. The extensive range of lifts give skiers and snowboarders access to over 300 hectares of terrain, with something to appeal to all levels of ability. The resort’s varied runs range from the wide beginner slopes of Bourke St and Burnt Hut Spur, to the challenge of black runs like Chamois and the back of the Summit.

Your itinerary will never be fuller than at Mt Buller. There’s so much to do, both on and off the snow, that the only thing you’ll need to decide is where to start. When it comes to skiing and snowboarding, Mt Buller is the only resort in Australia to extend discounted kids’ rates to all school-age kids, up to and including 18 years. Mt Buller also offers uni students the cheapest snow holiday in all of Australia, with half price tertiary lift tickets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 20% off any other day of the week.

From snowplay and tobogganing, to movies, snowshoeing, helicopter flights, day spas and sports activities, Mt Buller has a range of activities to keep every member of the family entertained. And if you’ve always wanted to try husky dog sledding tours, you can cross that off your list here too.

NOTE: the entry fee for Mt Buller includes entry into Mt Stirling.
