Lift off. The only way is up, baby!

If you plan on skiing or snowboarding, a trip or ten up on the lift is a necessity, and the lift pass a necessary purchase.

Beginners can buy a Beginner’s Lift and Lesson Pass or a lift lesson and equipment hire package like the Discover Pass at Mt Buller. These are designed with the beginner in mind and are very cost effective.

For those of you who are organised with an accommodation package deal, you can normally opt for lessons, lift and equipment as inclusions, which usually makes it very affordable. There are also some great discounts for tertiary students too.

If you’re ready to move on from beginner’s level, you’ll need to upgrade to a lift pass that offers all of the lifts so you can explore most of the mountain.

And we’ve moved with the times. You can buy your lift passes online, saving you both time and money. They look like a credit card, sit in your pocket and are scanned each time you go on a lift.

You now also have the option to purchase half day passes, which allow you to do other things during your day. Too easy!

First Timers

There are some great first time packages that include your equipment, lesson and lift pass.  Do you research to find out which pass suits you best, and check with the resort you plan to visit for the best deal available.

Check out Snow Victoria’s ski resorts for more information on lift pass prices and deals.
