Or you might like to fly to Albury and take a short coach ride or hire a car from the airport.

Falls Creek, with its progression perfect terrain, is the place for a truly outstanding snow experience. With 15 ski lifts, 92 runs and 4 terrain parks, there’s skiing and snowboarding for everyone from beginners and families through to advanced skiers and riders. The terrain offers something for everyone, from Australia’s longest home run trail – Wombats Ramble (2.2kms), a great selection of intermediate and advanced trails and Australia’s only back country snow mobile ski tours for the more adventurous.

As the home to the Australian Cross Country ski team, Falls Creek is renowned for their world class 65km cross country trail network. In addition to snow sports, Falls offers a wide range of snow activities which are ideal for first timers and families. Known as the snow play capital of Australia, the resort offers snow tubingsnow shoeing, kids snowmobiles and twice the amount of tobogganing with a new village based toboggan slope.

Night Skiing

Experience Australia’s longest beginner run under lights with Night Skiing on Wombats Ramble. Wombats Ramble lights up after dark on Wednesday and Saturday nights allowing skiing and snowboarding adventures to continue after the sun goes down. Grab the kids, gather some mates and experience the excitement of skiing under lights while the stars are shining.

Snowshoeing

Nordic Snowshoeing is the newest way to experience the beauty of Falls Creek. On a back-country hike you can access spectacular views and locations rarely seen by most visitors to the resort. Snowshoes are easy to use and offer a unique way to enjoy the snow on a budget. They are also perfect for the whole family!

Snowbiking

Falls Creek is the first resort in Australia where you can slide a ski trail on a bike made for the snow. Snow bikes are a unique way to experience Australian snow with an exhilarating ride that is sure to get the adrenaline pumping!
