Nestled amongst the snow gums, at 1562 metres above sea level and 10km from Hotham, the alpine village of Dinner Plain is a perfect winter getaway for families, friends and couples alike. This award-winning village is known for its remarkable alpine architecture, with around 300 uniquely Australian private chalets all within walking distance from the village centre.

Are you a foodie with a love of snow? If yes, then Dinner Plain will suit you to a tee with an array of quality food venues to choose from, including Australia’s highest brewery.

Dinner Plain is also home to a beginner ski run, which is just perfect for those experiencing snow for the first time. Intermediate and advanced skiers will love the convenience of the shuttle bus that runs to Mount Hotham, just 10 minutes away.

The resort offers a number of snow play activities including tobogganing, self-guided snowshoe tours, dog sledding, cross country skiing and disc golf at Australia’s highest course.

There is no resort entry fee to visit Dinner Plain.
